Yesterday's Publix, CVS and Target trips...

Good Afternoon FFH's!

I had a pretty good day out in the stores yesterday getting free stuff.  I went earlier in the day to Publix to grab a few deals before the new ad started today.  I also ran to CVS with my daughter before church and we hit Target on the way home from church.

To start with I went to Publix.  I used the coupon I mentioned getting in the mail the other day from Oscar Mayer for up to a $9 value!  I searched and could not find anything close to $9...even bacon!  So I opted to use it on the Beef hot dogs that were on sale BOGO (buy one get one free).  By doing this I was able to get two packs of hot dogs for FREE that had a retail value of over $10!  (only one pack is pictured because we ate the other pack for dinner last night lol!).

I also had a free coupon from International Delights FB page.  I've been carrying it around since I got it, but was never able to find the product.  Finally a friend told me in our Publix they kept it hidden by the iced tea and lemonade next to the deli, instead of in the dairy case by the coffee creamers where you'd expect to find it.

I got the Belvita Biscuits for free using a coupon for a free box when you buy Gevalia coffee.  The coffee was on sale at Publix for $6.99.  I happen to have a $1 off Gevalia MQ and a Target Gevalia for $1.75.  Since I now switched to K-cups, I was able to get the Gevalia coffee for my neighbor who loves it at a great price, plus get my Belvita's free!

Finally  I was most excited about the 3 free Starbuck's Refresher's.  My coupons for a free one had expired 5/19.  When I first got them I went in to Publix and couldn't find them.  I grabbed the manager to help me find them and he couldn't either.  So yesterday I found the same manager and said, "do you remember a few weeks back helping me try to find the refresher's"?  And he did, and I told him well, now you have them and the coupons have expired.  Without hesitation he said no problem and signed off on my coupons so...3 free refreshers!

Next stop was CVS.  I picked up another Colgate 360 toothbrush free when the Red Coupon Machine spit me out a $1 off any toothbrush making it free after ECB's.  I also got an unadvertised deal on Crest Complete toothpaste that I found out about from someone on a FB page I follow (thanks Joanne!).  The 2.7 oz. size was included in the $3 ECB when you buy one deal, but wasn't marked on the shelf (may be a computer glitch...not sure).  But it cost around $2.79 (depending on your CVS), and you get $3 ECB back making it a .21 MM (money maker).  So I did it twice (it was limit 2 ECB deals per card).

Last stop of the night was Target.  I had a few of the $10 Food Saver Coupons from the 5/13 SS (Smart Source coupon insert in the newspaper).  The FreshSaver 2 count containers that work with the hand held Food Saver device are $9.99 at Target, making them free with the coupon.  Yes I know the coupon says Food Saver "appliance", but I guess these are considered an appliance because I heard it worked for these...and sure enough it does!  I got one set the other night, and two more last night.  I have one more coupon left if they get any more in before it expires.  You can also use it to get a hand held Food Saver if you missed it last time for $9.99 at Walmart or Target (I think they are about $19.99).

I also picked up some Tena liners (they are for incontinence but you can use them like regular panty liners too).  I had gotten a $7 off coupon for ANY Tena product mailed to me from a coupon offer I filled out online awhile ago.  The liners were $5 and change, so with the coupon they were free.  Now Target doesn't allow overages on coupons, so they adjusted it down.  I guess if I were smart I would have taken my coupon to Walmart where I could have used the almost $2 overage...but I didn't have to go to Walmart, and didn't want to make a special trip just for that.  I also picked up a free dental floss (.97 with $1 coupon).

Well, that's it for my shopping excursions yesterday.  I'm pretty happy with my free stuff!  I hope you are getting these deals too!!!  I'd love to hear about what you get for free.  Please share in the comments section so we can all share in the excitement!

My Free CVS haul...

Good Evening FFH's!

I just couldn't wait until tomorrow to share my CVS freebies with you...

I ended up getting a surprise from the red coupon machine when I scanned my card today.  First it spit me out 2 $5 ECB's (Extra Care Bucks...CVS money).  These were from Beauty Club.

Every time your total purchases in beauty (anything like shampoo, female products, makeup, skin care etc.), totals $50 you get a $5 ECB.  The nice thing is that it keeps track for you on your Extra Care Red Card, so you don't have to.  You can do it in one shopping trip or take several months.  It will tell you on the bottom of your receipt how much more you need to reach your next $5 reward.

Another nice thing about this program is they go by the price prior to coupons.  So all the beauty items I end up getting either really cheap or even free...count towards my $50!  So technically you can get $5 back on free items!

I was able to get the Hershey candy bar deal that CVS was offering last week that I missed.  I had gone in and asked the manager if they had any of the Hershey Air bars left and he said no.  I asked for a rain check, but forgot to get it after I checked out.  He was nice enough to honor it anyway!  So I got an awesome deal!  Better then I would have even got last week.  The Hershey bars were on sale for $1.19 or if you buy 2 or more they are $1.  The cashier took off 2 x $1.19 for the Buy 2 get 1 free deal from last week.  So since I bought six bars I got 2 free.  Then I had 2 coupons for a free Hershey Air bar when you bought a regular Hershey bar.  So 3 more free bars.  And the last one less the extra .18 cost me .62.  So I paid .62 for one and got 5 FREE!

I also got 2 Snickers bars free.  I had a coupon for .75 off 2 and there was an ECB deal for .75 on one.  So I bought 2 and got .75 off from the coupon and .75 back in ECB which made both FREE!

I got a Colgate 360 toothbrush for free.  They are on sale for $2.99 and you get a $2 ECB back which makes it $.99.  The red coupon machine spit me out a $1 off any toothbrush which I used to make it totally free!

The Mitchum deodorant ended up in the picture by accident.  I forgot it wasn't free after the $1 off coupon but ended up being .99.  Oops! I guess with the crest and and .01 toothbrush and Depends overages it really only cost .76 (But if you consider I had $10 in free money from beauty club...it really was free lol!).

I got a pack of Depends (yes to donate) because they were free after ECB.  They were $3.99 and I got $2 in ECB and I had a $2 coupon.

Finally I got the Crest Mouthwash which was on sale for $5.79 with a $3 ECB making it $2.79.  I then used a $3 off Crest mouthwash coupon I received from an online offer making it a .21 MM (money maker).

Oh, and I got another surprise from LesserEvil Snacks...I was one of 5 people randomly selected on a post today to win a FREE LE logo T-Shirt!  I'll post a pic when I get it.

I'm Back!!! Lot's to tell you...

Helllllooooo FFH's (Fellow Freebie Hunters):

I missed sharing my freebies with you all the past few days.  As some of you may know, I was away at a homeschool convention at an awesome hotel up in the Orlando area.  Right before I left and while I was gone I got some really cool free stuff I want to show you.  I'm going to combine it all into one big blog post.

I also was able to attend a couponing workshop given by "Christi the Coupon Coach".   She gave me some great ideas to help streamline my couponing to make it take less time and save me just as much money.  If you click her link above it will go to her Facebook page.  If you leave her a hello, tell her Barbs Free For All sent you!

OK...on to the FREE STUFF!

While I was away, I received a coupon (not pictured), in the mail for a free Oscar Meyer product up to $9!!!  It was a giveaway they had a couple of weeks ago where you had to have 10 people click your link in an hour (I posted about it on my blog at the time).  I hope some of you got in on this great deal!

I also received three sample bags of LesserEvil Snacks (my new favorite snacks by the way) came  which I won on several of their daily contests on their Facebook page.  Unfortunately for me...they were history by the time I got home on Sat. night!

I did however make my daughter PROMISE not to open the big box that arrived from LesserEvil until I got home.  This was a prize I won in a larger contest they had.  I won 12 full sized bags of assorted snacks for FREE!

They had 3 each of Sea Salt, Veggie, Sour Cream & Onion and Cheddar Cheese (my favorite!).  They have all natural ingredients and no artificial colors or nasty things you can't pronounce.  A great healthier alternative to chips.   THANKS LesserEvil Snacks!

Yesterday a friend popped over and I ran to Target with her on an un-planned shopping trip.  I only had some of my coupons with me, but I still got some great deals!  The totally FREE items I got were Reach Dental Floss which was .97 and I had a $1 off coupon making it free.  I had 4, but gave one to my friend.  My favorite thing of the trip were the FreshSaver vacuum storage containers.  If you've been following my blog, you know I got some handheld Foodsaver devices for free awhile back when Target ran a $10 coupon at the same time there was a MQ (manufacturer coupon) for $10, making the $19.99 device free!  Well now there was a $10 off coupon in paper a week ago for a FoodSaver appliance, and it works on the containers too!  They were $9.99 so ended up totally FREE!  They only had one box at that Target, so I may try another Target on the way to church tomorrow night and see if they have any in stock.

Above is what came in the mail today...except for the reusable BPA free coffee cup I got before I left on my trip at Old Navy for free using my SNAP 5 prize from playing the Old Navy Snap Appy on my Iphone.  Try it...it's free and fun, and you can win things like free flip-flops, $5 off coupons and other dollar off coupons.  You get about 10 spins a day.

In the mail today I got my Vaseline full sized hand and body lotion that I won by filling out their form and being one of the first 1000 people!  I got my rebate checks for Kellogg's also.  About a month ago they had a $10 gas card promotion if you sent in 10 UPC from selected cereals.  I had sent one set of 10 in and had another almost ready to go before they end date when they abruptly cancelled the promotion due to overwhelming response.  If course I was upset and wrote an email to them.  I guess I wasn't along and they let people that got returned forms send them again.  I also enclosed the other I had ready figuring they could only say no.  Well not only did I get $10 for each, but for some reason (I think to cover postage I had to send twice) they gave me 2 checks for $11!  When I combine the great deals I had gotten on the cereal to begin with, and this rebate, my cereal was about free...for like 20 boxes!

I got my hubby a free sample of some kind of miracle grow Expand n' Grow soil enhancer that came with a $3 off coupon!  I also got a sample of a pain reliever called Flanax.

Not sure this can be considered totally free...because we did pay for it, but our local Hoffman's Chocolates is closing (sniff, sniff....WHAAAAA!) on May 31st.  Until they do, everything in the store is 50% off.  I made the mistake of telling my hubby that!  We did a family run to the candy store and I won't even tell you what he spent!  But 1/2 of it was FREE!  Not a bad deal on really good chocolate!  (the weight I gained was free too!).

Oscar Meyer Product (up to $9) coupon...FREE!
3 small and 12 large bags LesserEvil Snacks...FREE!
3 Reach Floss...FREE!
1 2-pack FoodSaver containers...FREE!
A reusable travel coffee cup from Old Navy...FREE!
Vaseline lotion...FREE!
Miracle Grow Expand 'n Grow sample (plus $3 coupon)...FREE!
Flanax sample...FREE!
$22 in Kellogg's Rebates...FREE!
1/2 of our Hoffman's Chocolates...FREE!

I feel very blessed!

Hope you all had a great week of freebies this Memorial Day weekend, and let's remember and thank all the men and women who allow us to live FREE in this country!

We won a prize from Dr. Oz & and LesserEvil Snacks! Plus more free stuff!

Hello Fellow Freebie Hunters (FFH's)!  Sorry it's been a few days since I posted.  I just wasn't getting anything much in the way of free stuff, so didn't want to bore you with a bunch of posts with one or two items.  I decided to save them up for a few days and post all at once.

I got an organic Cascadian Farms peanut butter chip granola bar from signing up for a free sample promotion on Facebook.

Got two sample tea bags in various flavors from Now Real Tea, again by signing up for the sample on Facebook via a link from one of the pages I listed for you in a previous blog post.

I received two feminine product samples (plus $1 off and .50 off coupons) from Carefree & Stayfree. via a free sample promotion I was alerted to from one of the freebie pages on my list.

I got a sample booklet from Gucci for the new Flora line.  It contains scent samples for all three fragrances.  I like the pink one..."Gorgeous Gardenia" the best...but in general I'm not a big floral person.

Received a Whey Protein Isolate Cookies & Creme sample from Now.

Finally the 5 bottles of hand soap I purchased at Bed Bath and Beyond.  They were $1 each, but I needed another item that was $10, and altogether my $15 qualified me to use a $5 off $15 coupon so the soaps were FREE!  If you don't already receive BB&B coupons in the mail...go to their website and sign up.  They take their expired coupons too so save them up!  I saved a total of $22 in all for my order using a combination of $5 off on $15 and 20% off coupons.

Cascadian Farms bar...FREE!
2- Now Real Tea bags...FREE!
2 - Carefree/Stayfree samples (plus coupons)...FREE!
Gucci 3 pack sample fragrances...FREE!
Now Whey Protein Isolate...FREE!
5 Bed Bath & Beyond pump hand soaps...FREE!

I also won some free snacks from LesserEvil snacks on their Facebook page.  They have contests all the time...go visit them and tell them I sent you!  I've gotten a couple of their samples before...and if you haven't checked them out yet...they are awesome!  They have good natural ingredients and are a much healthier option then standard chips and snacks.

And finally...my daughter and I entered the Dr. Oz big prize giveaway a couple of weeks ago.  The instructions were kind of sketchy, so we thought you could enter for an item in each time slot.  We later found out that only the first item you win counts.  So my darling daughter got her perfume (that is suppose to help you loose weight by curbing cravings by the way...neat!), but I could have possibly won one of the much more expensive prizes I tried for.

But you know what...I am very thankful we won anything, and I'm happy for my daughter because I know she really wanted this.

Congrats Steph!!!

Well, that about catches you up to date on my free stuff!  Hopefully there will be more to come tomorrow.

Lotion and Tostitos and Baron...OH MY!

Good Evening FFH's!

Well, today I have 3 types of freebies I received:

1)  The freebies I got via stacking coupons with sales at Publix or just using free item coupons.

2)  The free samples that came in my mailbox today.

3)  The email surprise freebie I got notified about today.

Let's start with my Publix trip.  I got some really great deals today.  I saved over $122 and only paid $50 and change oop (out of pocket).  But I will only share the things I got free in keeping with my blog theme.

I had a coupon for a free Red Baron brand item (which I mentioned in a previous post) that my daughter won by entering a code off a previous box.  I had so many frozen pizzas from other deals and when Publix recently had their organic pizza on sale (we love the Greenwise Spinach Feta and Veggie pizzas!) that I had no more room until now.

I had the free Frito Lay coupon from the call to the company about the watery salsa (also in a previous post) so I tried to get as close to full value as I could.  It said up to $4.29 and the Tostitos Naturals Blue Corn chips were $3.99.

The two Hallmark Cards were free because I purchased three cards (I didn't show the one I paid for), and used a Buy one Hallmark item get one free (from tear pad of coupons in card dept.) Publix store coupon.  I also had a buy 3 Hallmark Cards get 1 free coupon from Redbook Mag. (my mom subscribes).  So since one was Publilx and one Manufacturer (MQ) I could use both which meant I only paid for one of the 3!  So Father's day cards for me and the kids...CHECK!

Finally the Nutrogena Naturals Face bar was not only FREE...but FREE+.  I wasn't sure it would work with the coupon...but the coupon just said face cleanser...well...soap, for face, cleanses...see where I'm going here lol!  I had a MQ for $3.50 off from the Smart Source newspaper insert from 4/15/12.  Then I had a Target coupon from the Target coupon booklet I got in my free makeup bag sampler a couple of weeks ago.  Combine it gave me a MM (money maker) of .27 and that's after tax!

Not pictured, I also had a free coupon from my Coke rewards points for a free Dasani 20oz. water which I picked up at check out.

Now for my mailbox goodies!  Nothing amazing...actually I have gotten both these samples before.  Usually they only allow one per household, but sometimes different sources offer the same sample.  So somehow I got another Metamucil sample and another Gevalia sample (plus coupons!).

Finally I got a surprise in my email box when I got home from church tonight.  It was a confirmation email from the people at Vaseline telling me I was one of the first 1000 entries last night for their product giveaway!  I was shocked because I never win those things with my slow computer!!!  So I will be receiving a full size tube of one of the varieties below...FREE!

Red Baron Pizza...FREE!
Dasani 20oz. water...FREE!
Tostitos Naturals Blue Chips...FREE!
Nutrogena cleansing bar...FREE!
2 Hallmark cards...FREE!
Gevalia coffee sample...FREE!
Metamucil sample...FREE!
Soon to arrive...Vaseline total moisture lotion...FREE!

So I have to say this has been an awesome freebie day!  Hope yours was too.

1 + 1 = 2...FREE Items today!

Good Evening FFH's,

Today I received 2 free things in the mail!

I got a sample of Metamucil fiber supplement (which personally I won't use because it contains artificial sweeteners), but I can pass it along to someone who does.

I also received my wrist band from Athena water for breast cancer awareness.

Metamucil sample...FREE!
Athena pink wrist band...FREE!

O.K., so it wasn't an earth shattering day in the world of freebies...but it was better then a mailbox full of bills like yesterday!  Remember, keep a positive outlook.

On the up side...I got through all my piles of paperwork today, and organized my coupons.  I also..."MAY" have won a free tube of Vaseline hand cream if I was one of the first 1000 to enter.  They said we will get an email within 24 hours if we won.  I'll let you know tomorrow.

Nite!

No free samples...but free stuff...YES!

Hi FFH's (Fellow Freebie Hunters),

Well, the mail was not good to me today.  Bills, Bills and more BILLS!

I wasn't even going to post, because I really didn't have anything FREE to share.  No free samples today, I hadn't gotten anything free shopping (I did get some great bargains...), and No free prizes.

Then it hit me!  I had gotten lots of things free today!  And each one was a blessing!

The air I breathed in and out all day was...FREE!
The good advice I got from a dear friend via email, was...FREE!
The Godly wisdom I got from reading my Bible this morning was...FREE!
The rain that watered our lawn today was...FREE!
The fun morning out bargain shopping with a new friend today was...FREE!  (well the fun time was free...the bargains cost a little bit lol!)
The yummy cup of hot apple cider I just sipped while typing on my computer was...FREE!
(yes it really was free...it was a free sample box I received from a giveaway awhile back)

You get the picture!

It's all about being content with what you have and where you are and who you're with...

(That advice was...FREE!)

Mother's Day luncheon, MM's and Money!

Good Evening FFH's!

Yes, I know, here on the east coast it's technically tomorrow...but let's pretend it's still today for a minute because I have lots to tell  you!

Today was awesome!  I started by joining my Mom and Daughter (among other good friends) to my church's Mother's Day luncheon.

Next my daughter and I hit CVS and Walgreen's for some last minute deals before the new weeks deals start tomorrow.

And then...the best part...but I'll leave that for last.

First let's start with the mailbox...again, slow day today as samples go, but I did get a surprise!  A couple of weeks ago I emailed CVS Customer Service about never being able to find the CVS exclusive magazine "Reinventing beauty".  I could care less about the magazine, but I wanted the valuable coupons it contains!  The district manager called me and said he'd try and track one down for me and see about stocking them at my local store.  Very nice!  So I scored a .99 magazine loaded with coupons for FREE!

While I'm on the CVS topic, let's move on to the CVS "Tranquil" Body Wash.  I received this with a coupon emailed to me by CVS Minute-Clinic's new Facebook page.  (They just posted they are no longer available...sorry, hope you saw it when I posted it earlier this week).  The body wash rang up at $2.37...but the coupon took off $3 for some reason!  So They paid me .63 and gave me a FREE body wash!  So FREE+ lol!  That's what they call a MM (Money Maker) in couponing language.

On to Walgreen's.  Earlier in the week I purchased a Scrubbing Bubbles One Step automatic toilet bowl cleaning kit (which comes with the starter kit, plus a refill).  It's been on sale this week (ends today) for $6.99 with a $2RR.  I had a $3 off MQ also which made it $1.99 (the refill alone is more!).  I figured for that much  I'd give it a try.  (Side note:  I am not what you'd call a good housekeeper.  I'm what you'd call a...slob!).  So anything that can make housecleaning easier...I'm in!  I've been using this all week in my kids bathroom...and it's really great!  That's why I decided to pick up one for my bathroom while the sale was still on.

Today, however, I got them...you guessed it, FREE, or I wouldn't be posting them.  I happened to have $10 in RR from earlier purchases that gave back RR's.  So I was able to pay with them.  I did have to buy a few filler items, because Walgreen's is funny that way.  You have to have an item per coupon, and since they count RR's as coupons I needed what we refer to as "filler" items (cheap items to fill in so you can use an extra coupon or RR).  To my delight and surprise they had little mini bags of Lindt Truffles marked down in clearance to .64!  (love them!).  I also picked up another Glad Scent & Spray automatic air freshener which I got earlier in the week for $1.99 after coupon and RR.  But today...FREE!  And they even had the stone look model with the lavender vanilla scent they'd been out of earlier in the week...yeah!

And now for my ultimate FREE thing today!  You are not going to believe this! While I was in Walgreen's, I found some FREE cash just laying on the floor!

Now before you think I'm an awful person, I gave the manager my name and phone number, and told her if anyone came in saying they lost money, to have them call me.  So I'm going to give it a day or two...and then if I don't hear from anyone...HAPPY DANCE...FREE MONEY!

You see...I think God is giving me a Mother's Day gift!  Not that my children are not gift enough...but this would be icing on the cake!

So I pray this money was not lost by someone that loosing it would cause a hardship to...but rather a rich person who won't even miss it!

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY to all you fellow freebie hunting mom's out there.  I hope you have a relaxing blessed day tomorrow!

The Famine is ending...

Happy Friday FFH's,

Sorry I've been missing for a couple of days...just really had nothing FREE to share!  It seems in the world of freebies it's feast or famine...and it was FAMINE for the last couple of days!

I do however have a few freebies to share with you from my mail today (except the dog food which I actually got yesterday).

My rather small haul today wasn't all too exciting...by hey, it was FREE right?

I got a free sample of Rachael Ray's Nutrish Just 6 dog food (unfortunately my dogs are on a special food and can't eat it, so into the pile to donate to my local shelter it goes).

I got a pair of 3-D glasses so I can view the online 3-D video stream of the Hugo Boss fashion show coming up next week.  I'm not really interested in today's fashions, (to me most are way too immodest as well as making normal sized girls feel inferior), but I thought it would be neat to see how it looks in 3-D, so I may tune in for a brief moment to check it out.

One of my favorite salad dressings lately is Brianna's dressing.  I love the Caesar.  I never seem to find coupons for them, so I emailed the company.  They were nice enough to send me a free calender and two .55 off coupons.  (Good tip...if you like a product, request coupons from the company).

I also received my coupon for a FREE Dasani water.  I got this for cashing in my Coke Reward points.  Those who know me, know I don't really drink soda, but I got the points for signing  up, and finally saw a way to get something back for them that I would drink!

Nutrish dog food sample...FREE!
Brianna's dressing calendar and coupons...FREE!
Hugo Boss 3-D glasses...FREE!
Dasani Free bottle of water coupon...FREE!

Well, that's it so far today... how about you???

Barb

(P.S.  Don't forget to print your $1 off on 1 Wonderful brand Pistachio nuts.  That makes them...you guessed it...FREE at Staples!)

And the wave crashes down...

Good Evening FFH's (Fellow Freebie Hunters)!

Remember how I've been telling you that free samples seem to come in waves?  Well, yesterday I was on the crest...and today the wave crashed to the beach.  (in other words...mail was a dud).

But you know what...tomorrow the wave will start building again.  It may not be tomorrow or the next day...but it might be!

And today wasn't actually a total loss.  I did win 2 more $5 off coupons on the Old Navy Snap App today!  That means 2 more free T-Shirts or other items I find for that price!  I won't count it as a freebie for today though...since I haven't really picked it up yet.

I  could have gotten a free ice cream cone today from Hagen Daz free cone day...but I had ice cream in the freezer, and it was rainy out...and I just couldn't justify a trip to the Mall for it.

I also found 2 more of those free coupons for Good 'n Natural energy bars when I got more coupon inserts from friends and family.

So...it was a slow day here...but that's the way it goes.  You know what the Bible says...God's mercies are new every morning!

And so are free deals...hope you find some too!

Can you believe even more freebies today!!!

Good Evening Fellow Freebie Hunters,

Just when I thought the freebies for the day were over...

I realized my second $5 off gift I got from playing the Old Navy App on my iphone and ipad was about to expire today!  I couldn't let that happen when I have an Old Navy less then 15 minutes away!

I got another free pair of flip-flops in a summery light green color.  And I got a $5 Old Navy flag shirt free also.  If you have an iphone, ipad or ipod it's worth playing the Snap App!  (It seems once you win the main gifts (free flip-flops, $5 coupon, and $15 off $75 coupon...you don't win much else...unless it's just me!).

I almost forgot...and not pictured is a tube of Tylenol Precise pain relief cream.  I had a coupon where if you buy a Ben Gay product you get that item free (not to mention the coupons and ECB deal I got on the Ben Gay!)

The doggie in the picture is not a freebie!  She's my baby Ginger who just happened to be sitting on the couch.  She's just a FREE spirit!  :)

Old Navy Flip-Flops...FREE!
Old Navy Flag T-Shirt...FREE!
Tylenol Precise Cream...FREE!

What an awesome freebie day!  Hope you have a great night!

See...I told you this was going to be a great week!

Hello Fellow Freebie Hunters!

It's a great day for samples today again.  You see, I told you how free samples come and go in waves...well I'm heading up the crest now.  It should continue a few more days and then it will taper off again until the next wave.  So if you just started requesting free samples, don't get discouraged.  There will be up times and down times.  Hang in there!  The pay off is worth it.

Today my mailbox was full of freebies!

No...that hand didn't come in the mail lol, but I just wanted to show off my new pearl ring that I got free free free from signing up as a free member of Sneakpeaq.  Click this link to go to my post with all the details or go directly to Sneekpeaq.  I also got $10 off my first order.  They run different promotions for new customers all the time, so the ring might not be available anymore, but another item or discount may be.  It's worth checking out though.  It's a really nice ring...not a cheapie feeling one at all.  Unfortunately they didn't let you choose the color or size and randomly sent one.  My daughter was disappointed it wasn't her size...but it just happened to be mine!!!

The veggie krinkle sticks are from Lesserevil snacks.  I'm not sure if I received them from a free sample sign up or for the contest I told you about winning the other day....but hey, either way I'll take free healthy snacks!  We love these.  They are light and crisp, and are a great alternative snack to just plain potato chips.  If you visit their FB page, please tell them Barb's Free For All sent you!

I got a free Schick Hydrosilk razor from one of their giveaways.  They periodically have them...so watch the posts from freebie sites (my favorite sites are listed here).  Also "like" the Schick Hydro Facebook page to get their direct feeds also.  I love this razor.  It has built in moisture in a strip near the blades that make the razor literally glide over your skin.  It really helps with dryness after my shower too.  My legs feel moisturized all day. (added bonus, it came with 2 coupons...one for $4 off refills, and .55 of shave gel).

We also got another food sample today.  It was a box of Quaker Oatmeal squares cereal.  Like most samples it came with a great $1 off coupon.

Finally I received a travel bag (more like pouch) from signing up with AARP.  Yes folks, I hit the big 5-0 a couple of months ago!  So I figured why not take advantage of having to turn fifty and collect on the additional perks and discounts that AARP offers members.  It is only $16/yr. to join, and Walgreen's and many other restaurants and establishments give discounts monthly to AARP members.  It's funny...in the photo for the ad to join, this pouch looked more like back pack sized lol!  I was shocked when I saw it!  But it will be great for holding small items when traveling.

Pearl ring from Sneakpeaq...FREE!
Schick Hydrosilk razor...FREE!
LesserEvil Krinkle Sticks...FREE!
Quaker Oatmeal Squares cereal...FREE!
AARP travel bag...FREE!

I hope you all got lots of freebies today too!

Girl's Day Out...

Hi Freebie Hunters!  I hope you all had a wonderful day...

My daughter and I had a great day together.  We got home from church around 11am after an awesome service and went right out on our shopping adventure.  Our first stop was Walgreen's, then on to CVS and finally to Old Navy.  We then made a visit to my parents house and hit Whole Foods on the way back home.  We got back around 7:30pm, exhausted...but with a lot of great deals!

I will keep with the theme of this Blog and not go into all my good deals...but focus on the best ones...the FREE ones!

First StopWalgreen's.  They had some great FREE deals this week.  The Complete Multipurpose Contact Lens Solution was $7.99 but you got a Register Reward (RR - Walgreen's money) back so it was free.  The Lanacane Anti-Itch cream was on sale for $5.00 and you got back a $5RR so free.  The Witch hazel was $4 and you got back a $4RR again free.

Second StopCVS.  They had select Mars candy bars .75 and you get back .75 Extra Care Buck (ECB - CVS money), so free (you might notice the empty wrapper in the photo...somebody was hungry after all that shopping lol!  They had Good 'n Natural energy bars .99 and there was a .99 coupon in today's paper making them...free!

Next stop Old Navy to claim our free flip-flops I posted about the other day.

Then our last stop of the day was Whole foods:  I had 2 Free Coupons for Sambazon protein drinks plus a free Sambazon Sorbet that I received when I called the company about a missing inner seal on my bottle.  It turned out it was a new type of packaging they were phasing into, but they still sent me coupons!  I used the free Organic Valley half & half coupon I told you about yesterday that I earned on the Stonyfield Farms website rewards program.

Complete Contact Solution...FREE!
Lanacane Anti-Itch Cream...FREE!
Witch Hazel...FREE!
2 Good n' Natural bars...FREE!
1 3 Musketeers Bar...FREE!

Note to self...don't let daughter get mail...

Hey Fellow Freebie Hunters,  Happy Saturday!

I was so excited to get my mail today.  I just knew it was going to be a great sample day since yesterday was a dud.  My daughter went out to the mailbox to retrieve the days goodies...

In she comes with a pile of envelopes.  I quickly raced through them looking for at least a coupon or something.  When all I found was bills and junk mail, my face dropped.  I was so bummed!

About 15 minutes later, my 15 year old daughter with a Cheshire Cat grin, and her hands behind her back says pick which hand.  Right away I knew what she had done.  She stole my mailbox goodies and was hiding them from me!  So one by one she tortured me and made me pick a hand until she handed over all my freebies.  Then the two of us tore them all open to see what we got.

So today's FREE sample haul consisted of:

An Always/Tampax Radiant sample pack.  It came with a cute little padded zippered pouch, 2 sample tampons, a pack of 3 liners and 1 pad.  It also had a coupon book as an added bonus!  I signed up for this a few weeks ago through a promotion they were having.

A FREE coupon for International Delight Iced Coffee Half Gallon.  It was one of those giveaways to the first so many people who signed up.

Another FREE coupon for a Red Baron product that my daughter snagged by entering a coupon code off a Red Baron pizza box a couple of weeks ago when Winn Dixie had that as part of their Meal Deal of the week.  (Side note, keep an eye on the "Meal Deal" that Winn Dixie offers weekly in their flier.  It consists of a main item you pay for, and then supporting items (usually 1 or 2 sides, a dessert and a soda).  You can use coupons on the main item, but not on the free ones.  It usually is a really good deal if you happen to like and use the items they are offering.).

1 Sample of an Argan Oil hair treatment.

A nice sized sample from Tully's coffee.  A 4 pack of k-cups in various varieties and a $1 off coupon!

Always/Tampax sample plus purse pouch...FREE!
International Delights Iced Coffee FREE coupon!
Red Baron Pizza FREE coupon!
Argan Oil Treatment sample...FREE!
Tully's Coffee sample k-cup pack...FREE!

Now that's what I'm talking about!!!  It looks like my lull may be over and samples will hopefully be rolling in this week.  But you never know what to expect.  That's the fun of it!

Hope your mailbox was full today!

FREE, FUN and FRAZZLED!

And how are all you Freebie Hunters doing tonight?

Yes, I know it's almost midnight and I'm just checking in now.  Well, it's been that kind of day.  Not bad by any means...just the kind of day that seems to slip through your fingers before you realize it.  It isn't until you finally sit down in your comfy living room chair and reflect back on the day that you realize how great it was!  But enough of my chatter...let's get to the good stuff!

I went to CVS today.  I didn't do a huge shop like I normally do because I actually had a few non-coupon items I really needed, so I wanted to use my ECB's (Extra Care Bucks...CVS money), on those items so they didn't cost me as much.

I won't go into my whole purchase, but I will say I got over $136 worth of stuff for $49 and change.  And like I said 5 of the items were needed and would have been well over $49 alone not to mention the other things I got, so although that's way, way more then I usually spend at CVS, I still got great deals.

Now to the FREE stuff:

I was able to snag 2 tubes of Colgate toothpaste for free.  They were $2.99 and there was a $2.49 ECB deal (meaning after the purchase at the end of your receipt is an Extra Care Buck (ECB) for $2.49 that can be spent like cash at CVS (except for a few items like tobacco or gift cards).  I also had a coupon that was in the 4/29 coupon insert for .50 off Colgate toothpaste.  So $2.99-$2.49-.50 = Free toothpaste!
The deal was limit 2 per CVS card, so I got 2.

I also got a One Touch mini blood glucose meter.  They were on sale for $10, plus I had a $10 off coupon from Sunday's coupon insert, making them FREE. (There is also a printable coupon online at coupons.com if you didn't get the Sunday paper).

I don't personally have diabetes, but I may go tomorrow and get a couple more and donate them.

The patterned round containers in the photo are really neat "Roll" holders designed by Jonathan Alder for Cottonelle.  They come with a roll of Cottonelle toilet paper and two .25 off coupons for wipes and toilet paper.

They are supposed to be ringing up at $1.99 and you get $1.99 ECB making them FREE.  But there was a glitch I found after I got home and checked my receipt and they rang up at $2.19 so I need to take my receipt back next time I'm near CVS and get it corrected.  But for now let's say they were FREE!  They can be used as an extra roll holder, or be creative and use them to hold pens, hair accessories, craft supplies, etc.  It said limit 1, but I've seen on many sites online it was limit 4 if you do each transaction separately...so the cashier said let's give it a try, and it worked.  So I got 4.

2 Colgate Max White toothpaste...FREE!
One Touch Mini blood glucose meter...FREE!
4 Roll Holders...FREE!

Finally the last freebie of the night wasn't for me personally, but I'll share it anyway...

My church's teen group had an activity tonight (Wii Bowling and Build your own ice cream Sunday). It was so much fun!  We have a great group of kids.  (and adults for that matter).

Brendy's of Wellington Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt was nice enough to donate 20 servings of Ice Cream and 2 containers of toppings...FREE!  If you live in the Wellington area and want some really good ice cream give them a try.

Thank you Brendy's!  We had a great time and your Ice Cream was awesome!!!

Well, that wraps up the night...my mailbox was pretty empty today, so maybe tomorrow it will be jammed full of freebies!  One can only dream...

Nite Freebie Hunters!

Doing the Freebie happy dance!!!

Hi Freebie Hunters!

First...just a reminder that this is the National Day of Prayer (not that we shouldn't be praying every day (without ceasing as the Bible says), but today especially we need to lift up our Country and it's Leaders in prayer. We should be very thankful we live in a FREE country and we can FREELY read our Bible in public and attend the church of our choice.  We are very blessed!

I'm having a great day today!  I just scored another FREE pair of Old Navy flip-flops...using the Old Navy app on my Iphone.  (also got another $5 off coupon).

I also got some great surprises in my mailbox today...

I got my FREE coupon for Organic Valley flavored 1/2 & 1/2 from entering codes off of yogurt lids on the Stonyfield Farms website rewards program.  I love that creamer by the way...the hazel nut is awesome!  None of those bad chemicals and additives in the other coffee creamers.

I got my FREE coupon for any Frito-Lay product (plus a $1 off and .55 off).  I received this because we purchased some of the Tostitos restaurant style salsa and it was literally like water with a few pieces in it.  I was afraid it was bad.  I called the company and they apologized and sent me the coupons.  (Good tip...if you ever have an issue with a product, don't hesitate to call the company...you will at the very least get a coupon to replace your product).

Finally, I got a sample of the new Fructis Triple Nutrition Shampoo and Conditioner.

Old Navy Flip-Flops...FREE!
Organic Valley 1/2 & 1/2...FREE!
Frito-Lay product...FREE!
Fructis sample...FREE!

Not a bad day so far!  And we are having FREE Domino's Artisan pizza for dinner tonight!

I want to hear what you got free today...comment below and let me know!  (hey that rhymed lol!).

Barb

FREE Flip Flops to end the day...(and an important note)

For any of you late night Freebie Hunters still up...I thought I'd just share another free item I just got.  Old Navy has a new iphone, ipod, ipad App that is FREE of course lol!

Once you get the App installed you can click on "Snap" and it tells you to snap anything with Old Navy on it.  Well, this late I wasn't going to be able to hit the Old Navy store...so I decided to try loading the Old Navy website on my laptop.  Guess what???  It worked!  I kept snapping the logo, and this little spinner would go through different prizes on my ipad (works the same on iphone), and stop on the prize I won.  It only gives you limited spins per day, but in my allotted spins I managed to win a $5 off coupon (didn't specify any minimum purchase), and a FREE pair of Flip Flops.

Only worth about $4...but hey, they're FREE!  And I might be able to snag an even better deal if this scenario works...

Old Navy Flip-Flops - FREE

Right now they are $3.94 a pair or 2 or more pairs for $2.50 each.  So maybe they will count the free pair as one and I can get a second pair (or actually both) for $2.50.  I'll  let you know how that goes.  Better yet, maybe I'll win another pair tomorrow!

Well, goodnight freebie hunters...may you dream of free flip-flops!

And please don't forget another important thing we have that's FREE...the land we live in!  If you didn't know, tomorrow is our National Day of Prayer.  Please join me in praying for our Country and it's Leaders.
